History

Wise's story is written between snow-capped peaks and deep valleys.
In the crisp air of the windswept heights. On the narrow trails, winding between granite walls striated by the centuries. There, two paths crossed. Two ultra-runners sharing a common vision. Driven by a perpetual quest for progression, an exploration of human limits that transcends mere performance.
Crossed paths.
Between two breaths, on steep paths where each stride demands precision and commitment, a common vision emerges. Ultra-running as a vector for progression. Intense discussions reveal a shared frustration with the limitations of existing equipment. Textiles that become heavier under the strain of long climbs. Carrying systems that restrict movement more than they free up on technical sections. Configurations unsuitable for the extreme temperature variations between damp valleys and icy ridges. One thing is clear: ultra-running deserves better, demands better. Equipment designed by ultra-runners, for ultra-runners.

Himalayan trails.
The project is put to the test with a challenge. Running the 310 kilometers and 20,000 meters of elevation gain of the Solukhumbu Trail in the Everest Valley. A route that crystallizes all the demands of ultra-running at its peak. In this environment where oxygen is scarce, weather conditions can switch in a matter of minutes from dazzling sunshine to a blinding snowstorm. Every gram becomes an adversary, every technical detail takes on vital importance. The Solukhumbu becomes the catalyst for a deep reflection on the ideal equipment, a search for technical excellence in an environment as demanding as it is spectacular. The cornerstone of Wise.

Founding paths.
Facing the rising mountain, a path emerges. Designing equipment specifically designed to meet the extreme demands of high-altitude roaming. Each element is considered, each component is questioned. Again and again. Prototypes are tested in real-world conditions, from deep valleys to slender peaks. Gradually, a modular system emerges where every gram justifies its presence, where every seam is optimized, where each configuration meets a specific need identified in the field. What was limited to a mental vision becomes a physical reality. Wise takes shape around a commitment. Designing ultra-running equipment without compromise, for infinite progression.
