TRACK: SOUTH
DISTANCE: 104.9KM
ELEVATION DIFFERENCE: 7045M
“ADVENTURE AND SHARING WILL BE THE THEMES OF THE WEEKEND.”
The TRAKKS team embarks on the crossing with a precise route: 104.9 kilometers, 7,045 meters of elevation gain. This is the route with the highest elevation. It's not a risk; it's a conscious choice. Their approach is based on consistency: no extra moves, no deviations. A collective approach maintained until the end.
From the first few kilometers, the dynamic is established. No imposed rotation, but a natural listening. When the terrain hardens, they readjust. No one goes in front, no one stays behind. They advance together, in a calm balance, without demonstration.
Leave without tension
After 65 km on the first day, fatigue is definitely there. But the group remains compact. At Lac de Passy, faces open up and legs respond. They set off again without pushing too hard. The climb to the Aiguillettes des Houches is demanding and steep before offering a well-deserved panorama of the Chamonix valley. A few glances exchanged are enough to keep the pace going. They arrive in Chamonix together: a pride held and shared in smiles.
Walk at the same pace
What TRAKKS demonstrates is not an individual achievement. It is a collective, controlled, committed approach without excess. A solid track maintained by attention to others.
